Speaking to a large gathering of students, the performer urged them not to take silver major screen too seriously and instead focus on their own ambitions and efforts.
Responding to the criticism directed towards Toxic, Yash said, “Never take silver major screen seriously. We haven't achieved anything special. Whatever you want to do in life, dream it and work towards it.
You will get respect and success. If we fail in something, don't blame the world. Only we are responsible.” Yash's comments came as he and the team promoted Toxic at the Hyderabad University.
The performer's message shifted the focus from the criticism surrounding the movie to the importance of taking responsibility for one's own choices and working towards one's goals. The promotional event, however, was briefly disrupted by an accident. A loud sound box setup as per reports fell into the crowd while Yash was addressing the students.
Two students were as per reports injured in the incident. Yash immediately noticed the situation and asked the organisers and security personnel to check on those affected. Please check,” he said from the stage.
Police personnel present at the venue also stepped in and rushed the two injured students to a nearby hospital for treatment. Before continuing with the promotional event, Yash also checked on the viewers and asked, “Is everyone okay? Is everyone safe?” He waited for a response from the crowd before proceeding.
Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is directed by Geetu Mohandas and backed by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations LLP. The movie features Yash in a dual part, alongside Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth.
