The Story So Far
This year's 45th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine disclosed on Wednesday that Masakuni Igarashi's Tune In to the Midnight Heart (Mayonaka Heart Tune) manga does not have a fresh chapter in the issue as initially planned, due to Igarashi getting sick. Igarashi is currently focused on recovering, and planning to resume the manga in the magazine's next issue on October 14.
Kodansha's K MANGA service is publishing the manga digitally in English, and it describes the narrative: Igarashi (Senryū Girl, Detectives These Days Are Crazy!) launched the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in September 2023. The 14th compiled book volume shipped on August 17. Kodansha USA Publishing licensed the manga and dropped the ninth volume on September 1.
The manga inspired a television anime that made its launch on January 6. Crunchyroll streamed the anime, and it also streamed an English dub. The anime will have a second run that will first screening in 2027..
As the story continues to develop, TeraMovies will keep you updated with every new detail. Until then, this remains one of the most closely watched entertainment stories of the week — and the conversation is only getting started.
