The Story So Far

WWWave Corporation's anime streaming platform OceanVeil disclosed on Tuesday that it is adding the Miru Tights web anime on Thursday at 9:00 p.m. OceanVeil describes the anime: Created by legendary illustrator Yom, famous for their obsessive, hyper-realistic depiction of pantyhose aesthetics, Miru Tights is an unashamed celebration of legwear in all its glory.

Whether you are a fan of 30-denier sheer elegance, 60-denier matte allure, or the heartbreaking drama of a sudden snag in a thread, OceanVeil invites you to indulge your sophisticated tastes without judgment.  The anime made its launch on the Nico Channel and d Anime Store services in May 2019. The official YouTube channel for the anime also streamed the episodes with English subtitles, as well as Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese subtitles.

The anime streamed 12 five-minute episodes, and the anime's Blu-ray Disc arrival in Japan included a bonus 13th installment (the arrival also included the same subtitle language support as the streaming arrival). Yūki Ogawa (Ōya-san wa Shishunki!) directed the anime at Yokohama Animation Lab and Fumiaki Maruto (White record 2 visual novel,Classroom Crisis, Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend) wrote the series.

Yukari Hibino designed the characters, and SHADE composed the music. The three cast members each sang their own solo version of the anime's ending theme track "True Days" as their respective characters. Yomu/Yom, an illustrator whose work typically focuses on women in tights, wrote the original narrative.

The author's Ganbare Dōki-chan (You Can Do It Dōki-chan) dōjinshi manga also inspired a net anime adaptation that made its launch on the ABEMA streaming service in Japan in September 2021. Crunchyroll streamed the anime.

As the story continues to develop, TeraMovies will keep you updated with every new detail. Until then, this remains one of the most closely watched entertainment stories of the week — and the conversation is only getting started.
