Love Bite (2012) β€” At a Glance

School is over and summer has begun in the dead-end seaside town of Rainmouth. While Jamie's friends seem to be happy working in the local pie factory by day and looking for sex by night, Jamie is bored out of his mind, running his pot-head mother's B&B. He's desperate to get out of there. But when he meets beautiful, smart and sexy American traveler Juliana at a party, he's smitten – the world is not so small after all. But soon after Juliana's arrival, strange things start happening. One of the local teens goes missing at a party. Then, another. Jamie is warned by an enigmatic stranger that a werewolf is in town – and preying solely on virgin flesh! The only way to be safe seems to be to pop your cherry. (But that can't be true… can it?) As the locals are picked off one by one, the boys fear that a werewolf is indeed after them. And for all their talk, it turns out none of them have ever had sex before… Pretty soon, everyone is dying to get laid.

The Story So Far

ShoPro Entertainment disclosed with a sneak peek promotional video and visual on Wednesday that Julietta Suzuki's Otaku Vampire's Love Bite (Oshi ni Amagami) manga will receive a television anime adaptation. The staff made the announcement on November 4, since 11/04 can be read as a Japanese wordplay on "ii oshi" or "good favorite." Viz Media publishes the series in English and describes the narrative: Even vampires obsess over their favorite characters!

After spending 30 years as a shut-in, the vampire Hina moves to Japan to enjoy otaku activities. There, she meets her neighbor, Kyuta Amanatsu, a boy who looks just like her favorite part! What's more, his blood is something special, irresistible to vampires everywhere.

As other vampires show up with their sights set on Kyuta, his relationship with Hina takes an unexpected turn. Is she fangirling…or falling in love?! A 100% otaku vampire meets a handsome, slightly sharp-tongued guy in this bloody romantic comedy!

Suzuki launched the manga in Hakusensha's Hana to Yume magazine in November 2022. Hakusensha shipped the 10th compiled book volume on July 17 and will ship the 11th volume on November 20. Viz Media shipped the eighth volume on July 7 and will ship the ninth volume on December 1.

The manga is a serialization of a one-shot with the same title that Suzuki published in Hana to Yume in April 2022. Suzuki ended the Meitantei KΠΎΜ„ko wa YΕ«utsu (Detective KΠΎΜ„ko Is Melancholy) manga in June 2022. Suzuki published a one-shot for the manga in Hana to Yume January 2020, before serializing it in the magazine in September 2020.

Suzuki launched the Kamisama Kiss manga in Hana to Yume in 2008, and ended the series in May 2016 with 25 volumes. Viz Media has published the manga in English.

What happens next is anyone's guess, but one thing is certain: this development has added a fresh chapter to an already fascinating entertainment saga. Stay tuned to TeraMovies for all the latest updates from the world of cinema.
