The Story So Far
The staff for the second run of the anime based on Wookjakga's A Returner's Magic Should Be Special (Kikansha no MahΕ wa Tokubetsu Desu in Japanese) Korean webtoon disclosed its first promotional video on Friday. The anime's website also disclosed that it will get an advance screening at Shinjuku Wald 9 in Tokyo on October 3.
The fresh run will first screening in Fuji TV's "+Ultra" programming block in October, and it will run on Wednesdays at 24:45 (effectively, Thursdays at 12:45 a.m.). The first run began re-airing on Fuji TV and Kansai TV in July. The rock band FLOW makes a comeback to create the "Sorrow" track specifically for the fresh run's opening theme.
krage will perform the ending theme track "Everlasting." Taishi Kawaguchi makes a comeback to direct the anime at Arvo Animation. Takamitsu Kouno (She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man, Absolute Duo, We Without Wings – Under the Innocent Sky) makes a comeback to compose the series and write the scripts for the anime.

Kenta Higashiohji (Pole Princess!!) makes a comeback to compose the music. Yen Press is releasing the series in English and it describes the narrative: The first run of the anime made its launch in October 2023. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in English-speaking, Latin America, and European countries, along with an English dub.
